The Nike Zoom Type SE Goes Over The Top With Jewels, Sherpa Shrouds And More

The Nike Zoom Type SE Goes Over The Top With Jewels, Sherpa Shrouds And More

Since its launch in May, the Nike Zoom Type has predominantly favored minimalistic arrangements. For its latest ensemble, however, the experimental proposition abandons its understated aesthetic in favor of a “Baroque Brown/Black/Linen/Lime” colorway accompanied by a handful of eye-catching accents.

While innately muted, the brown suede throughout the upper sets the stage for a number of notable details. Contrast stitching plays a supporting role to the zippered sherpa shroud that sits atop the laces. As if the furry overlay wasn’t enough of a statement-maker, it features multi-colored lacing, a metallic zipper and shimmering jewel dubraes. The vibrant styling extends itself onto the pair’s inner lining and spine, as a “Lime”-accompanied geometric pattern animates both areas. Furry paneling also makes its way to the heel, where it sits right above a layered galaxy-reminiscent midsole. Zoom Air units at the forefoot forgo their usual flair in favor of a “Linen” composition; outsoles indulge in the titular “Baroque Brown” tone that works well with the eccentric design choices.

Enjoy official images of the Zoom Type here below, and expect pairs to hit Nike.com soon.

For more from the Swoosh, the Stussy Air Force 1 duo arrives on December 11th and 12th.
