Since the Nike KD 13‘s arrival, we’ve seen an extensive number of colorways, each noticeably unique in choice of palette, inspiration, and the like. Now, following 2020’s nod to Aunt Pearl, the silhouette will be undergoing a Rasta-themed transformation.
Most of the upper is outfitted in the enduring, weather-resistant ripstop fabric, with both its main body and accents coated in a dark black shade. Elsewhere, the pair then begins to incorporate the aforementioned inspirations. The midsole, for example, tri-colors in nod to the Jamaican flag, starting first with a tiny bit of green, a wide stroke of yellow next, and then finally a bold red finish; over top, more hits of the latter layer above, the topmost mold making up fraction of the bright green Swoosh. What’s more, this tonal range is mirrored at the lace unit and ankle flap, with each doing so in slightly different ways.
