Jovani Hernandez First teased back in June, the Nike Dunk High “Varsity Maize” (or “Iowa”) finally launches on December 9th.
As with the ultra-coveted pair commemorating the Wu-Tang Clan from 1999, the forthcoming proposition features a “Black” and yellow palette throughout its smooth leather upper. The former tone sets the stage for the latter, which takes over laces, all overlays and branding on the tongue. Underfoot, Peter Moore’s design maintains its Air Jordan 1-reminiscent sole unit, and dips it into a “White” and “Varsity Maize” arrangement. Together, each hue creates one of the most anticipated Dunks of 2020, which says a lot given how much attention has been paid to the silhouette throughout its 35th Anniversary.
