With the futuristic yet lifestyle-inclined adidas Ultra 4D now fully introduced into the cycle, international retailer Sneakersnstuff is finally ready to officially announce their spin on the silhouette. In their “Green Tea-Time” concept, they’re nodding to their recent expansion in Japan while adding a refreshing dose of their own collaborative history with adidas.
Sticking more more to the “OG” nature of the Ultra Boost in comparison to other collaborations by Packer and Social Status, the SNS adidas Ultra 4D opts for a high-contrast black and light green tint to accentuate the original knit pattern of the Ultra Boost. It fully matches the Aero Green hue of the 4D-printed sole, while also touching on the important of green tea to Japanese culture and tradition. Furthermore, the choice of color-blocking, in addition to the clever nickname, is a nod to their 2016 Ultra Boost design – the “Tee Time” inspired by golf couture.
Sneakersnstuff will exclusively release their collaboration on December 11th, 2020 for $250 USD. Considering the limited nature of this release, these will be available only through the SNS App raffle, with entries opening up on December 7th and closing on the 10th.
In other adidas news, the Yeezy 350 “Sand Taupe” is set to release on December 18th.
