The Nike Air Max 270 “Evolution Of Icons” Pays Homage To The Era From 1993 To 1996

The Nike Air Max 270 “Evolution Of Icons” Pays Homage To The Era From 1993 To 1996

Though far newer than the releases its now referencing, the Nike Air Max 270 has cemented itself as one of the brand’s few modern classics. And with this upcoming “Evolution of Icons” colorway, the silhouette is effectively celebrating its predecessors from 1993 to 1996.

At a glance, the callouts are subtle as they share one visually cohesive frame. But, if you look much closer, you can see nods to the “Neon” Air Max 95 at the eye stays, the “Blue Lagoon” Air Max 2 Light at the orange air unit, and the “Dusty Cactus” Air Max 93 at the cool-toned Swoosh and tread. Elsewhere, the pair makes use of a neutral palette, covering the mudguards in black leathers and the underlayer in bright hits of grey and even silver reflective.

Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect a Nike.com release to arrive likely within the coming months.

In other news, a Triple Black Air Max Plus is around the corner.
