FDMTL And COSTS Store To Deliver China-Exclusive New Balance 2002R Collaboration

FDMTL And COSTS Store To Deliver China-Exclusive New Balance 2002R Collaboration

Well-known for their line-up of patchwork garments, Japanese label FDMTL is moving on from their string of collaborations with Vans to hand darn the uppers of New Balance‘s newly revived flagship: the 2002R.

Part of the silhouette’s expansive family of limited releases, the offering brings along retailer COSTS Store for its China-exclusive run. Its design, though, bears the signature of FDMTL alone as the suede construction is dyed near full in a bath of what could possibly be natural indigo. The mesh underneath follows suit as well as the “N” logo on the profile, the latter only standing out thanks to its brighter outline. Behind, on the forward edge of the counter, one can more easily notice the additional cosmetic stitch that reminds of hand done adornments, a reference that is further utilized by way of boro stitch patterned paneling.

Grab a quick look at the upcoming 2002R here, and as confirmed by the label themselves, you can expect a release to land later this November.

In other news, a Laser Blue Jordan Reign appeared by way of official images.
