Nike’s efforts towards a more sustainable world have been prominent in 2020 through their various footwear silhouettes which have been reimagined with elements such as crater foam outsoles, recycled uppers, and more. Aside from the popular Space Hippie line, the Swoosh’s Move to Zero initiative is being called upon through another capsule entitled the “Recycled Jerseys” Pack. Following the unveiling of the range’s upcoming Blazer Mid entry arrives the modern-day Daybreak Type entry.
Styled in somewhat of a similar manner to its 1977 sibling, this iteration is equipped with base layers formed with recycled woven knittings, and features notes of faded red and volt accents, the former touching the mid-foot overlay, while the latter navigates to the Swooshes and N.354 branding atop the forefoot, tongues, and heels. On top of that, charcoal grey overlays are present across the toe tips and where the shoe strings loop through, and grassy green stitches embroider onto the side walls to form its Swooshes. Explore a further look here below, and find these dropping in the coming weeks on Nike.com for $100 USD.
Elsewhere in sneaker news, the Jordan 1 Mocha is set to release this week.
