This Fall, the Puma family has put a clear emphasis on expanding their roster of athletes, and after welcoming in Paris Saint-Germain’s very own Neymar Jr., the Germany-based imprint is now shifting their focus to their basketball division to officially confirm their partnership with up-and-coming hoops prospect LaMelo Ball. At just 19-years young, the crafty point guard has spent multiple years proving himself on the professional level overseas in Lithuania and Australia, but this is the year that he finds himself being one of the more anticipated picks in the 2020 NBA Draft.
As a brand ambassador on and off the hardwood we can expect Ball and Puma Hoops to deliver a range of different projects together starting with a t-shirt and hoodie capsule that’s set to release on November 18th in alignment with draft night, in addition to their collaborative “Not From Here” creative concept, and various giveback programs involving that of skill camps, equipment and clothing donations, court refurbishments and more. On the floor, you can likely expect to see the lanky floor general lace up signature shoes such as J. Cole’s Puma RS-Dreamer and the Clyde Court Disrupt. Stay tuned for further information regarding this partnership and its upcoming launches on Puma.com, and peep images of the soon-to-be NBA athlete decked out in the brand’s gear here below.
