Michael Le Much like its Valentine-filled counterpart, Singles’ Day has quickly become an oft-referenced holiday in sneaker culture, many releases dedicated to the November date in both design and name. Jordan Brand, whose releases often span a large number of standouts, looks to be inviting the Air Jordan 6 along for the event as they dress it up in luxe, premium fabrications and some colorful embellishments.
The upper, which appears ornate in its subtly-etched print, is wrapped at its base with a floral upholstery, the material made matted in its texture and threaded over top with a flowers of all different types. These, though a complement to the dark and brooding palette, are tinted with a subtle red pigment, one that somewhat complements the deep cherry that coats the tongue’s ruby-like lace shield. Elsewhere, suedes lay above the construction in full black like the lining, heel pull, and tongue, while the midsole seems to be sublimated over with a pattern similar to the aforementioned.
