Save for its All-Star Weekend collaboration with Chance the Rapper’s SocialWorks program, the Air Jordan AJKO 1 hasn’t seen all that much light of day since around 2014 when its “Sport Blue” retro hit the market. However, that will change by the next year as we’re now learning that the silhouette is scheming up plans of coming back with a fresh new rendition by next Fall.
While the image provided here is only but a mock-up, we do know that the installment will channel a “Storm Blue” motif which likely nods to the Air Jordan 1 High colorway that last retro’d in 2016. Visually, you can find that against its white backgrounds, titular accents coat the canvas mid-foot/toe tip overlays and ankle flaps, while the ankle collars and Swoosh logos color-block in stark black. Beneath all of this, the bottom piece ushers in angelic midsoles and full treading coated with bold blue finishes. Check out a closer look here, and find these dropping on likely via Nike.com and select retailers next September.
For other news, a Gym Red Dunk Low Disrupt colorway is set to release soon.
