Jordan Brand Announces REAL TALK, A Content Series Devoted To Education And Awareness

Following the tragic murder of George Floyd earlier this Summer, MJ and his Jordan Brand family immediately took action by pledging a whopping $100M dispersed over the next 10 years to support organizations fighting for social justice. While this donation is far more than generous, the Beaverton-based company still feels like they can further along their commitment to the Black community, which is why they’ve taken the liberty to reveal “REAL TALK”, a content series designed to shine a light on important racial issues faced by the Black community today, as well as educate in terms of finding actionable solutions.

Hosted by social commentator Angela Rye, the series will involve special guests including Jumpman athletes, influencers, journalists, social justice experts and community activists to participate in speaking about these very necessary topics and issues. The Youtube series will kick off on October 7th with a panel discussion from Chris Paul and writer/activist Baratunde Thurston related to the significance of voting, which couldn’t have come at a better time considering that the most important election in US history is just around the corner. A taste of the topics/messaging that you can expect to hear can be found in the snippet video here below.
