Human Made And adidas Officially Unveil Their Upcoming Tokio Solar And UNOFCL Collaboration

Teased in advance of the wider release, Human Made‘s latest collaboration with adidas is soon to see Japanese doors, both the Tokio Solar and newly unveiled UNOFCL photographed in detail alongside the announcement. Dressed in two colorways each, the aforementioned offerings will be accompanied by a small range of apparel as well, this set mostly centered on simplicity as it presents basic graphic tees, athletic shorts, and a mesh top.

The first to be revealed via NIGO’s social media, the Tokio Solar silhouette is poised to deliver two colorways: one neutral while its complements breathes in a retro-akin use of color. This, as a likely nod to past runners, is bathed near entirely in green shades, the mesh and suede over top matched as closely as possible in their respective textures. Three Stripes at the side then dress in white next to gold adidas branding, the former complementing that of the eye stays, laces, heel tab, and the BOOST cushioning below. By comparison, the white colorway is more versatile as it only pairs navy, and light hits of grey.

Somewhat utilitarian in its design, the UNOFCL seems to borrow cues from staples like the Stan Smith and even the Superstar. Perforated accents take the place of the Three Stripes at the profile of both colorways — a monochrome duo of white and black — while yellowed soles add a vintage effect just underneath. Straps then outfit the tongue in lieu of laces, their tri-fold arrangement embellished with the Japanese label’s signature “GEARS FOR FUTURISTIC TEENAGERS” slogan. Heart motifs are then printed at the tongue while the heel further marks with the Human Made namesake and the equally significant “Dry Alls” text.

Grab a detailed look at the upcoming footwear here and expect to see a release at HumanMade.jp come September 22nd, 12pm JST.
