Gru Joins The Minions x Reebok Collection With The Question Mid

Gru Joins The Minions x Reebok Collection With The Question Mid

While the Minions preferred a more lighthearted showing, Gru of the same Despicable Me universe is leaning into his own maniacal genius for the next release in their Reebok collaboration. Seemingly motivated by world domination, the series’ lead takes the Question Mid and provides an upgrade befitting of a weapon of mass destruction.

To start, both the medial and lateral profile are supported by silver metallic paneling, an armor that appears more robust along the heel counter thanks to its mechanical sculpting and ominous skull decal. Adjacent, black nubucks offer a lifestyle complement to the aforementioned, taking spot along the mid-panel, toe cap, and even the tongue which bears toned down Reebok branding. Wide gauge mesh that accents below, covered atop by black laces which use neon green fuel tubes for eye stays. Cosmetic rivets then bolt down the sole along the edge of the colored cushioning while the villain-turned-hero himself prints proudly along the outsole’s graphic.

Grab a close-up look at these here and expect a Reebok.com release on October 1st release.

In other news, a LEGO adidas ZX8000 is on the way.
