Nike Uses Velcro To Let You Piece Together Your Own Air Force 1

Nike Uses Velcro To Let You Piece Together Your Own Air Force 1

Customization has always been a big part of Nike’s more innovative designs, and with their latest Air Force 1, the brand is taking things up a level as they outfit the silhouette near entirely in velcro material and almost nothing else.

Out of the box, the upper arrives removed of all its usual fixtures save for the tongue, eye stay, and tooling. Everything else is delivered on the side, allowing one to effectively piece together their very own Air Force 1 however they see fit. One can add multiple swooshes in all sorts of orientations or dress the toe with the heel tab instead; or if you prefer something more ordinary, you can likely craft the pair in a fashion unmistakable from GRs off the shelf. Though the offering is seen here with white components, there are sure to be more colorways in the works to better expand its modular variety.

Grab a detailed look at these here and sit tight for further word on their Nike.com release.

In other news, official images of the Doraemon Dunk Highs have been revealed.
