Nike Adds Alternating Red And Blue Swooshes To The Air Force 1

Nike Adds Alternating Red And Blue Swooshes To The Air Force 1

Hot and cold has been a theme used many times before by Nike, and while its implementation has slowed down dramatically in the past few years, the brand is beginning to bring it back with a little help from the Air Force 1.

And to further bring attention to its alternating motif, the pair delivers a base near entirely understated. Black shades outfit the tread below a brighter, achromatic midsole, one that matches the leather construction, lace unit, and lining above. The Swoosh, which switches tones from lateral to medial, shines spotlight on red as it dresses the exterior while the brighter blue lies more subtle as it sprawls along the inside of both feet. Heel tabs and tongues arrive in semi-typical form, the latter adding bits of the aforementioned colors to its blank space; insoles, in more interesting fashion, then finish with a maximal all-over print replete of brushed rectangles.

Grab an official look at these here and sit tight for word on their upcoming Nike.com release.

In other news, a new Air Force 1 Crater is in the works as well.
