Kanye West’s meteoric rise, though primarily predicated on his music career, has grown more rapidly ever since the artist joined the Three Stripes family — adidas Yeezy coming to life as a result. And since his very first silhouette, the still elusive 750, we’ve bore witness to the ever-popular Yeezy Boost 350 v2, the equally noteworthy 700 “Wave Runner,” and much, much more. With quite a sizable arsenal yet to release, West himself took to Twitter to preview an expansive color wheel of upcoming pairs that encompasses nearly every single current mainstay in the product line. Alongside, he’s teased more close-up glimpses of projects with Derrick Rose as well as a few leisurely slip-ons.
A rumor since 2013, Kanye is finally preparing to debut his D Rose design, a silhouette that borrows quite heavily from the Yeezy line-up’s current roster. Similar to the clog in shape, the pair bears a visual imprint similar though tweaked quite heavily with an abstract mold. Instead of a smooth finish like that of the aforementioned, the upper is ribbed across its entire construction, a look that could easily be likened to ribs thanks to its bone coloring and intricate cut. Then, two more versions of mules have been revealed: one takes a more traditional slipper shape with ripple soles while the other seems to take the preexisting and apply a knit shell and dipped yellow aesthetic.
Grab a detailed look at everything mentioned and much more below, then sit tight as we await for each pairs’ inevitable adidas.com release.
UPDATE (08/11/2020):
