The newly introduced Grind material, which first made its way to the spotlight thanks to the vast and sought after Space Hippie collection, has gradually worked its way into the veins of nearly every Nike sub-label. As such, sustainability has accented pairs both visually and structurally, giving way to new takes of not only the Blazer Mid and Air Jordan 1 but also the somewhat new Daybreak Type. Recycled at nearly all points of its construction, the pair contrasts its prior appearances in both color and texture. Uppers mirror hemp in its textile, bearing various imperfections of different color all throughout the dark grey weave. Soles are more forthright with its scraps as much larger pieces are embedded at the midsole, the tread, and even the connected heel counter. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect to find it at Nike.com relatively soon.
In other news, the OG Air Ship is finally coming back.
