Throughout 2020 we’ve seen Nike spin their classic Air Max Tailwind IV in a range of impressive styles from a “Nippon” colorway to a rendition inspired by the atmospheres of Earth and Mars. So far in July, we’ve seen the 1999 classic arrive in a duo of new makeups, but as confirmed by recently-emerged official imagery, a third option is in order.
The accents here are ones of gilded splendor as metallic gold hits instantly stand out among its throat/heel underlays, the primary Swooshes, as well as the bottom of its ribbed gradients. A majority of its look however, is dependent on black and white neutrals, the former responsible for applying to the synthetic walls and the midsoles, while the latter comprises the side leather overlays and mesh ankle paneling. Based off of the nature of its color trio, they almost calls upon a similar vibe to that of Kobe 5 Protro Big Stage. Check out a further look here, and sit tight for word on their Nike.com release likely to arrive in the coming weeks.
For other news, the Nike Vapormax 2020 Summit White launches on August 6th.
