adidas NMD R1 V2 “Tokyo Nights” Adds Tri-Color Hits On The Midsole

In a COVID-less world, the evenings in Tokyo, Japan are when the city is most alive. Neon lights illuminate at nearly every corner, and thousands of people flood the streets to enjoy the town’s colorful nightlife. In honor of this bustling destination, adidas has decided pay homage to its vivid culture through their latest rendition of the adidas NMD R1 V2.

Fittingly dubbed the “Tokyo Nights” colorway, this rendition is engineered with a stark black Primeknit upper, which essentially can be interpreted as the evening sky. The accents are what give these lifestyle kicks their electric energy though as neon pink, aqua blue, and volt divvy themselves up along the entire midsoles, in trimming fashion for each stripe, as well as through the gradient tongues. Further nods to the Japanese metropolis land across the forefoot block and heel spoiler through textual hits. Peep a closer look here, and find these dropping on adidas.com come July 24th for $140 USD.
