The Air Jordan 1 Mid — especially its SE variant — has received quite a bit of attention since the start of Summer, debuting in UNION-inspired color blocking and vibrant mixtures of different composition. In a vein similar, the silhouette’s latest takes previously used palettes and recreates them with brand new materials, the ones currently at hand being unique even among the brand’s most eclectic women’s releases.
Ostensibly its inspiration, the Air Jordan 1 Zen Green seems to closely resemble the offering’s overall aesthetic, though shades are just marginally lighter as a result of the differing construction. Instead of suede, the vibrant accent is given a backdrop confetti-like in its visuals as speckles of different colors create a look not too dissimilar to Nike’s currently popular Grind materials. Panels atop — the toe cap, eye stay, heel wrap, swoosh, etc — then contrast in stark black, each made interesting by way of a glossy, textured ballistic mesh.
Finished by red insignia and complementing treads, the pair is readied to hit Nike.com likely very soon. See the them in detail just below and sit tight as we await further word.
In other news, another CLOT Air Max 1 is releasing later this Spring.
