Nike Places Recycled Grind Material On The Blazer Mid ’77

Ostensibly made in excess, Nike’s recycled Grind materials seem to be inching their way into every fiber of the brand — the Air Jordan 1, every entry in the Space Hippie family, and now the Blazer Mid. But the latter, as is expected from the lifestyle favorite, approaches the material in a way relatively distinct. Instead of utilized on the tooling or the main construction, the pair only allows it to rest on the heel tab as well as the tongue. A subtle detail, the various coloring turns the generally neutral fixtures quite loud; text-led branding only adding to that in their orange shading. Elsewhere, the leathers are left a typical white finish, the tooling is made to match alongside, and the swoosh finishes with a vibrant yellow. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect to find them on Nike.com very soon.

In other news, the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Zyon is releasing July 18th.
