MASTERMIND Parades Their Skull And Crossbones Atop Two Converse Addict Chuck Taylors

MASTERMIND Parades Their Skull And Crossbones Atop Two Converse Addict Chuck Taylors

Japan’s exclusive Converse Addict line is certainly above and beyond what exists in the states, the sub-series ushering in high quality, Vibram soles, and collaborations restricted for sale only overseas. And after some extremely rare and elusive pairs by UNDERCOVER and NIGO, they’re set to offer yet another Chuck Taylor replete of MASTERMIND’s simple, logo-oriented design language.

Two colorways are set to arrive with effectively the same motifs. The first, which may be more intricate than its complement, albeit by a small margin, leads with a format wholly familiar as black canvas marks with white contrast stitch and a tooling/cap toe combo that mirrors the silhouette’s finest original. “MASTERMIND” sprawls in bold text just along the front, an effective hood ornament that works in tandem with the tongue and midsole decals whose skull and crossbones are as overt a piece of branding. Along the other pair, the duo have opted to lean into a triple black arrangement that only delivers lighter accents along its foxing and aforementioned insignia.

Grab a detailed look at both offerings right here, and if you happen to live in Japan, they’ll be releasing July 23rd at select retailers for a price of ¥24,000 Yen (approx. $224.42 USD).

In other news, the Grateful Dead Dunks are dropping throughout this month.
