Though most have recently retired the use of Triple Red colorways, no trend is exempt from returning thanks to the public’s cyclical nature. The Air Max Plus 3, while a relatively new addition to Nike’s roster of revived classics, seems to be the vessel for such a return as it dresses up in a red-dressed outfit that could easily be likened to the famed Iron Man. Near overt in its references — as much as you can get without an official agreement — the offering hues in the aforementioned bold tone to resemble the Marvel icon’s signature suit. Gold accents, an often paired secondary, then apply luxe detail to the tongue branding, the embroidered miniature Swoosh, and the tooling’s subtler decals.
