Away from any indirect co-sign from Kanye West, Nike ISPA has been pushing the boundaries related to footwear and apparel for everyday life since 2018. Its latest OverReact Flyknit has been designed with this very mission, and launches on July 9th.
Unveiled as part of the division’s Fall 2020 collection, the OverReact Flyknit “Summit White” shares similarities to the React Element 87. Yet, a quick glance at Flyknit-featuring silhouette confirms the OverReact as a new footwear proposal. Its sock-like upper – which mixes multi-colored swaths with “Summit White” bases – combines with a “gluttonous” Nike React sole unit to deliver unprecedented comfort. Options within the Air Max line have offered plump, full-length cushioning for decades, but the OverReact Flyknit forgoes a sock-liner and strobel in order to enable each step to be fully indulged in foam. Elsewhere, ISPA’s new model utilizes a Velcro-assisted closure system instead of traditional laces, further amplifying the pair’s ease of wear. Underfoot, sole units go bold despite their lack of scarlet and blue color palette like their top-half counterpart.
Enjoy a detailed look at the OverReact Flyknit “Summit White” ahead, and find pairs hitting retailers on July 9th for $180 USD.
