Upcoming Nke Air Force 1 Crater Features Recycled Grind Outsoles

With the inception of Space Hippie came the introduction of new technologies, innovations in the production process that have helped minimize Nike’s waste by quite a large margin. And rather than be reserved for the recently released line-up, the brand has begun to employ these practices on adjacent silhouettes — the Air Force 1 one of the first to appear by way of official images. Utilized atop select fixtures, the Recycled Grind fabrication takes seat along the entire outsole, the branded patch at the tongue, and the heel tab. Apparent in its rough feel and speckle of divergent color, the various parts create the “trash” look of the aforementioned collection though underneath a shell relatively ordinary. Leathers feature a tumbled treatment with seemingly with no apparent tweaks, while the swoosh bears a metallic silver finish that loosely applies an air of futurism. Grab a detailed look just below and expect a release to hit Nike.com hopefully within the coming months.

In other news, Nike unveiled their Air Force 1 Brushstroke pack.
