No stranger to honoring global destinations, the adidas Ultra Boost, after unveiling a full collection dedicated to popular running hotspots in the Asia-Pacific region this past January, is bringing more international spirit into our midst this Summer. This time around, the Ultra Boost DNA is the model leading the charge, and after recently dropping a colorway designed for Montreal, Canada, the silhouette is traveling across the world to the Land Down Under to fashion a new makeover crafted specially for Sydney.
Symbolic of Australia’s national colors, these runners give its Primeknit uppers, cages, and heel molds a loud “Collegiate Gold” paint job, and couple this with tiny hints of green trim applied to the stripes and tongue/heel branding. Boost midsoles take the latter hue and decorate the heel and forefoot sections, while a stark black panel is sandwiched in the middle. Literal nods to the city famously known for its opera house are spelled out along the forefoot and tongues to round off its embellishments. These are slated to arrive on adidas.com in select countries on June 25th, but stay tuned for more info regarding its stateside release.
Elsewhere under the German brand’s umbrella, here’s a first look at the upcoming Pleasures Reebok Classic Leather Legacy.
