Yesterday marked exactly three months since the suspension of the 2019-2020 NBA season, but with plans of resuming all of the action in Orlando next month, die hard hoops fans have plenty to look forward to. Especially for Giannis Antetokounmpo, whom before COVID-19 went down, was playing some of the best basketball of his career leading his Milwaukee Bucks to claiming the #1 spot in the Eastern Conference. And with a whole batch of playoffs, and potential Finals games ahead of him, it’s quite possible that he’ll use this opportunity to debut his next signature shoe — the Nike Zoom Freak 2.
After a detailed look at its forthcoming green/white colorway, the Greek Freak’s kicks are now showing off its black/white option. Lateral walls appear to be the most eye-catching section of the shoes as they feature oversized Swooshes that house an animalistic pattern, as well as Antetokounmpo traditional triangle logo placed atop the rear. Moreover, the insoles are coated with a vibrant orange hue that that spell out “I Am My Father’s Legacy”, and the outsoles further communicate his deep rooted love for his family by carving out the names of both his parents and each of his siblings across the middle/heel areas. These are rumored to be dropping on July 31st to coincide likely on Nike.com and select retailers, but stay tuned as we receive confirmation.
For other Nike Basketball news, official images of the LeBron 7 MVP have emerged.
