An Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” Look-Alike Is Releasing This August

An Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” Look-Alike Is Releasing This August

Although its official releases in the new decade have yet to see the light of day, the Air Jordan 12 has been teasing a multitude of forthcoming colorways set to arrive over the course of the next year. Last seen teasing a “Dark Concord” makeup that is expected to hit the shelves during 2020’s spooky season, the 1996 classic is now adding a new and sightly familiar looking entry into its Autumn arsenal. Arriving in close proximity to the “Obsidian” 12s that last previously retro’d in 2012, this upcoming version enlists the same dark navy and white upper color-blocking, but substitutes its heightened leather paneling for nubuck materials. Moreover, the ankle Lace loops are coated with metallic silver exteriors, and the and spinal branding presents a near-identical execution to its muse by dialing its tab to a lighter obsidian shading. Peep a first look here below, and find these dropping via Nike.com and select retailers in men’s and kid’s sizes on August 8th.

In other Jordan news, the Air Jordan 1 Centre Court is officially releasing later this year.
