Though once at the top of sneaker culture, Galaxy print has slowly faded into obscurity, only arriving in seldom throughout the past decade. But now, during the isolation-filled days of 2020, Nike is slowly tapping into nostalgia as they tweak the graphic for more modern releases. From a pack of Foot Locker exclusives to a small round of GRs, the famed “Galaxy” colorway is making its return to the forefront by way of both a men’s and women’s Air Jordan 1 Low. The latter, which has just been revealed today, forgoes the Black Toe color blocking of its larger alternate in favor of a much bolder display. The print, whose palettes opts for bright pastels of neon green, candy red, aqua blue, and the like, dye each of the glossy overlays next to neutral leathers of white and black. Tongues finish with typical Jumpman embroidery while the heel marks with dark Wings insignia. Grab an official look at these right here and expect a release at Nike.com to arrive hopefully within the coming months.
In other news, the Air Jordan 11 Low Concord Bred drops this weekend in Europe.
