Sean Wotherspoon And atmos To Release Kids Version Of Their ASICS GEL-Lyte III

Even despite being stuck at home, it seems Sean Wotherspoon has kept busy through his seemingly long list of collaborative projects. The Round Two head — whose Air Max 1/97 is still to this day one of the culture’s most beloved — has not one but a handful of releases inclusive of a corduroy clad ASICS GEL-Lyte III made in partnership with the legendary atmos. Hirofumi Kojima, the director of the famed Japanese imprint, has teased the offering yet again earlier today, revealing its surprising kids’ alternate. Though made with a few noteworthy distinctions, the sized down pair still employs the same patchwork-esque color blocking as everything from the orange toes to the blue side panels is recreated with smaller parts. Velcro backings and removable Tiger logos, however, are unfortunately left out in favor of a cleaner, less disruptive aesthetic. Grab a close-up look at these right here and expect more word on release dates soon.

In unrelated news, the New Balance 992 Nimbus Cloud is returning.
