The New Balance 327 Is Releasing In Three Colorways This May

These past few months, New Balance has undoubtedly been on a roll, releasing a high reselling collaboration with Tetsu’s WTAPS while debuting the New Balance 327 silhouette alongside Casablanca. Now, after effectively increasing the buzz around the model tenfold, the brand is set to usher in its general release colorways but only first at retailers throughout Asia. Ostensibly the only set of shops receiving stock, the imprint is bringing not one but three later this May, starting energetically with the multi-color pair teased not too long back as well as both the grey and black alternatives.

The first, which is obviously far more loud than its accompaniments, bears the iconic blue and orange complement, using it aggressively as it splits the entire scheme down the middle: warm on the medial and cool on the lateral. Matched up with yellow “N” logos and a matching midsole treatment, the outward side bears two shades of its core palette while the opposite does much of the same though bereft of any branding. Then, in departure, the black-dyed offering prefers to let its suede overlays remain consistent throughout the construction — only the nylon bases are changed as they go from a dark grey to a much lighter ecru. Lastly, the light grey option simply recreates NB heritage as it makes mirrors some of the brand’s most iconic.
