Following the release of its latest Rasta-themed makeover last month, the Air Jordan 4 is poised to transition into the fifth month of the new decade with its anticipated four-pronged “Metallic Pack”. Jordan Brand, after already unveiling official imagery, is now serving us with a more in-depth perspective at each option alongside the very muse that inspired its collection – the iconic Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Pack” from 1985. OG vintage sneaker collector Dylan Ratner was kind enough to provide JB with surprisingly fair-conditioned pairs to place side-by-side with the modernized AJ4s, allowing us to clearly see where the design inspiration of angelic base leathers accompanied by shimmery accents was drawn from. Jumpman also confirms that this new assortment will be executed as a regional exclusive drop throughout the month of May. Being that the orange pair has already released in countries such as Korea and Japan it’s likely that these will be Asia exclusives, but stay tuned as we receive more information regarding where the other colorways will be distributed on Nike.com and at select retailers.
In other news, first detailed of the upcoming Jordan Quai 54 2020 collection have emerged.
