After the success Nike SB has had partnering with skate shops in the past, it’d be shame to stop entirely. With each local imprint likely falling on hard times as a result of Coronavirus-induced lulls, it’s only fitting the brand share some love. And the next on the list to receive their very own Dunk Low is none other than Instant Skateboards, the Japanese institution who is now set to celebrate 25 years in business. Made to honor such an occasion, the collaborative silhouette arrives with a clean white and blue palette, the latter closely resembling the shade used on Richard Mulder’s own collaboration. Swooshes atop apply quality leathers replete with black polish and contrast stitching, leading backwards to a more full backing marked by what looks to be yellow “NIKE” embroidery. Elsewhere, the toe cap brandishes fully with light neutral shades, the tongue subtly reveals special insignia, and the heel embellishes with a playful dog-led take of a jolly roger. Grab a first look here and sit tight as these are likely to drop later this year.
