With the reconception of Nike Sportswear, the brand created three unique sub-imprints: THE10TH, D/MS/X, and N.354. The latter, whose champions are fueled by the pure idea of experimentation, has produced more than handful of deconstructed silhouettes, and after tiring of the Air Force 1 and the Blazer, the series is moving on to retro runners with its forthcoming Daybreak Type. Debuting in two polar opposite colorways — a black with neon blue accents and a white with hits of grey — the model fine tunes a construction quite close to its inspirations. Mesh toe boxes and profile unders are outfitted with suede panels at the toe, vamp, eye stay, and heel, while its swoosh is removed entirely for a thinner and less noticeable stitched outline. Further tweaks arrive by way of aggressive contrast stitching at the forefoot as well as the rear’s extended wrap whose contrast tones extend onto the tooling itself. Penciled logos and the like patch at the tongue and stamp at the heel as per usual, readying both for their release at select retailers come April 30th.
In other news, the Air Max 95 just got a clean navy stripe colorway.
