Ruohan Wang Covers Her Nike Air Force 1 Low Collaboration With Signature Artwork

This past year and prior, Nike has afforded many a creator the opportunity to design their own Air Force 1, with notables like Ronnie Fieg and G-Dragon going for nostalgia and proprietary artwork, respectively. Ruohan Wang, a Berlin-based creative with an art style all her own, is approaching the silhouette much like the South Korean all-star though she prefers to let her work display more prominently. Hued with a palette of bright pinks and a seldom use of neutrals, the pair lets almost each individual panel act as a separate canvas. The swoosh, which is of the most untouched accents all in all, playfully hits with what seems to be a self portrait, setting the tone for the core theme as the artist looks at the Earth in worry. Further use of the planet can be found at the heel wrap and toe box while specific florals and forestation lie adjacent in pastels. Toe caps, which add on Chinese characters of seeming commentary, round off with messaging that is ostensibly in honor of the brand’s forthcoming Earth Day celebrations. Grab a quick look here, and considering the inspiration, it’s possible we’ll see more details closer to the end of the month.

In other news, an Air Max Tailwind 4 ACG is coming soon.
