JUST STAY HOME Series By @krxone Transforms Nike Classics Into Slippers, Clogs, And Mules

In the battle against COVID-19, the most effect weapon in our arsenal is staying put inside our homes. The purpose of social distancing is to slow the relentless spread of the virus, and the more we band together and keep indoors, the quicker we can actually go out and start rocking our favorite footwear. There are, of course, other ways to enjoy sneakers outside of wearing them. Creatives have come out in droves to display their personal projects on social media, such as this “JUST STAY HOME” by @krxone that transforms classic Nikes such as the Air Force 1, Mowabb, Air Max 95 Neon, and Air Trainer 1 into clogs and mules. Displayed via a clean on-foot shot with indoor-appropriate socks and sweats, these concepts simply remove some overlays to fully expose some areas of the upper for the full house slipper effect.

The man who dreamt up this art series is Aaron Kr., one of the driving forces behind NJ-based sneaker boutique Packer and former long-time veteran of Sneaker News. Follow him on Instagram to keep up with the series and his other projects as we continue our quarantining efforts.
