Despite noteworthy releases from the Jordan 4 and Jordan 5, among other Air Jordan retros, 2020 continues being the year of the Jordan 1. This Fall, Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe is rumored to add another Zoom-cushioned iteration to its roster, only this time in “Court Purple.”
Though no images of the fourth, re-tooled Jordan 1 High Zoom have surfaced yet, the pair’s accompanying “Black,” “Hot Punch” and “Green Glow” deviate from last month’s Dior Jordan 1-like “Racer Blue” release. Instead, the aforementioned palette is reminiscent of the upcoming Alternate Grape 5s, though it may simply accent an otherwise tonal arrangement. What will certainly appear on the next tweaked Jordan 1 High, however, are “ZOOM” branding at the tongue and ankle, an enclosed full-length Zoom Air unit and an icy, gradient outsole laden with “Z” patterns, given previous pairs.
No release date is yet known, but the Jordan 1 High Zoom “Court Purple” is rumored to hit Nike.com throughout Fall 2020. Until then, enjoy an initial, speculative mock-up here below.
