Though still far removed from the “Elephant” Air Max 1 from which it borrows, the pair pays subtle homage by way of its check and adjacent coloring whose aqua blue tones resemble that of the aforementioned quite closely. The Air bubble below is tinted to match for cohesion while the rest of the synthetic constructions prefer a neutral swathe of white and black: the latter dresses the toe as well as the lining and heel while the former balances at much of the base and tooling.
