For the Air Jordan 4, many of its plans for 2020 are starting to gradually get unveiled from its GR-focused releases to its highly anticipated cream-colored Off-White collaboration expected to make its debut during the Summer. Among the former is this forthcoming “Rasta” inspired colorway for the ladies, whom after getting revealed only yesterday, is now giving us an in-depth look to showcase how they perform on-foot. The palette has struck up quite the back-and-forth conversation in terms of its inspiration as some have believed it be tied to the Buggin Out character from Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing film, while others deem the pair as a celebration of the forthcoming Jamaican Carnvival (which originally was supposed to take place in April but has been postponed to October amidst the COVID-19 outbreak). In either case, the highlights of the shoe certainly are translated through its Rastafarian elements as a collection of orange, red, and green hues gradient across its traditional netted mid-foot and lower throat, with added vibrance in that very same green touching onto the sock liners and treading. Heel pieces and midsoles draw close connections to the silhouette’s “White Cement” makeover as they translate its identical grey speckled aesthetic. For those looking to grab a pair, they will be available on April 16th, likely on Nike.com and at select retailers for $190 USD.
