Bright Volt Arrives On The Nike Air Max Triax 96

Bright Volt Arrives On The Nike Air Max Triax 96

With the exception of Bransen Fernando’s design that was included in last year’s OHSU Doernbecher collection, Nike’s Air Max Triax 96 has for the most part kept its occasional appearances left to more retro thematics. And this makes perfect sense on the Swoosh’s part considering many of today’s sneaker generation could only be learning about this model for the first time, so to introduce it in palettes reflective of its birth era feels appropriate. And after already alluding to signature Nike hues of “University Red”, “Varsity Royal”, and “Purple Nebula”, the silhouette looks to keep this throwback trend going by styling its latest rendition in a mixture of 90s-friendly garb. Vintage tennis vibes are channelled through its mostly volt panels doused onto the throat, midfoot, and heels, while complementary notes of clean beiges layer onto the laterals/medials paneling. In addition, the Swoosh-branded areas are dyed with “Royal Blue” finishes. You can catch a detailed look here below and find these hitting Nike.com and select retailers in the coming weeks for $140.

In other Swoosh news, here’s where you can cop the Syracuse Dunks.
