Regardless of who’s responsible, there’s no denying that Nike SB is having a moment. And even though the sub-label has been around well-before the Travis Scott SB, this newfound mainstream attention for the skateboarding line of products has encouraged The Swoosh to capitalize on it. The SB Dunk Low, boasting collaborations with Strangelove Skateboards and Travis Scott, has been leading the charge, but the SB GTS Return and SB Blazer Edge have offered variety. The latter’s lifestyle version, the Blazer Mid ’77, has enjoyed a recent slew of clean, two-tone colorways vastly different from its own “Hack Pack” options. Perhaps inspired by sacai‘s “deconstructed” approach, this skate-ready Blazer features frayed lateral Swooshes, unorthodox forefoot overlays and layered tongues, all clad in divergent “Oracle Aqua,” “Moss,” “Infrared” and “Sail” hues atop a “Summit White” canvas base.
Grab a closer look at this eccentric SB Blazer Edge here below and expect them to hit Nike.com in the coming weeks.
In other Nike news, the Air Max 95 has recently emerged in a a colorway reminscent of its “Chili Red” release from 2008.
