The Nike Air Max 97 Gets A “Tiffany Diamond” Makeover

Falling hot off the heels of its latest appearance in “Infrared” ornamentations, the Swoosh’s Air Max 97 is proceeding along with more recognizable color schemes, this time deciding to go with the popular “Tiffany Diamond” aesthetic. Perhaps with all the attention drawn towards Travis Scott’s Dunk collaboration this week, it could be possible the buzz surrounding the Nike SB category has resulted in its influence to sprawl into other categories. In this case, the popular jewelry-inspired tones of white, black, and teal – a palette championed by Beaverton’s lauded “Tiffany” SB Dunk Lows from 2001 – are pasted onto their latest AM 97, but orchestrated in subtle-yet-effective amounts. Its base along with its midsole present themselves in pure white, which thus lend the aforementioned teals/blacks to tape a pair of its upper overlays, the throat taping, and the visible Air unit for a clean color-blocking finish. These will be releasing in women’s sizes on Nike.com and at select retailers in the upcoming weeks, so peep a closer look here ahead while you wait on their official drop.
