Among the most legendary sneaker imprints in Japan, atmos has played a large role in evolving sneaker culture, doing so even prior to the popularization of the internet. And despite still working on their ASICS project with Sean Wotherspoon, it looks like they also had their hands full with the adidas ZX8000, teasing imagery of its textured finish earlier today. Though just a small glimpse, the pair is very obviously loud in not only its coloring but also its choice of material, swapping out the base’s typical fixtures for one of an animalistic fur that’s dyed a vibrant orange. These, which arrive shrouded by much of the overlays, is then matched in energy by a neon green whose embedded pattern draws from the wild all the same. Elsewhere, black nubuck mingles with the side profile, dark green leathers dress the Three Stripes, and their namesake stamps along just one tip of the included laces. Grab a close-up sneak peek at the collaboration here and expect word on its official release very soon.
