Taking a break from the ultra-vibrant colorways courtesy of Gatorade, the Nike PG 4 is dropping in a quieter “Oreo” colorway next month.
Clad almost entirely in “White,” zippered shrouds set the stage for Paul George‘s first two-tone sneaker of the year (so far). Pitch “Black” lateral Swooshes join nubuck heel panels and medial mesh overlays to give the PG 4 a yin-and-yang arrangement. And while its monochromatic palette alone is suggestive of the unofficial “Oreo” moniker, speckled detailing throughout resemble the cookie’s use in ice cream. Similar to the Air Jordan 4‘s own informal homage, midsoles are dot-riddled, though less interrupted and more faithfully to the “Cookies & Creme” coloring. Down below, cup-outsoles sport a “Pure Platinum” at their outermost zones, while inner traction (in an “8” shape) opts for a colorless makeup.
The PG 4 “Oreo” is coming to Nike.com on March 16th for $110 USD. Pricing for Grade School sizing hasn’t been confirmed yet. For now, enjoy official images of this pair here below.
