Blends Translates Their Bone Motifs To The Vans Epoch LX

Blends Translates Their Bone Motifs To The Vans Epoch LX

Among the most notable collaborators in the Vans family, retailer Blends has created some of the best releases of the Old Skool in the silhouette’s history. Fresh off a series of UltraCush renditions, the California-based imprint is transitioning their bone motifs to the Epoch LX, a brand new canvas for the now long-running partnership. Similar to the aforementioned, the model basks in a palette neutral, only making use of black and white across the entire construction. The darker of the two, which steers at the helm, comprises the entirety of the upper’s suede fabrications, even the forefoot detailing and the eyestay layers whose edge bears ripple detailing for further intricacy. Bright laces play complement to the side logo’s skeletal make-up, one that minimizes to better suit the size and shape of the “V” that sits on the original. Elsewhere, midsoles remove their foxing stripes in typical Vault signature, the shop’s namesake stamps along the insole, and the tab at the heel marks extremely subtly. Grab a solid look at these here and expect a release to hit Blends locations on February 29th.
