These past few months, we’ve seen many a silhouette turn to performance, likely a product of the back-to-back sporting events that have taken place just in February. Not too long ago, we got a glimpse at classic Jordans outfitted for golf — following not too long after the Air Max 1’s entry into the sport next to Swarovski — with the Jumpman even designing for football as PEs touch the field more times than one can comfortably count. Now, looking towards a different game entirely, the Air Jordan 10 is the next up to undergo surgery, preparing for a home run with its full baseball cleat transformation. And though despite its new pastime, the upper is relatively unscathed in the transition, only shortening its height by a small margin; elsewhere, even its smooth leather overlays, mesh backdrops, and adjacent accents arrive close to true, coloring in with both the image of the “Steel” colorway and a neutral triple black in mind. Grab a detailed look at both offerings here and expect pairs to hit select shops and Nike.com likely within the next few months.
