Pusha T And Damian Lillard Debut Pharrell-Produced Track Ahead Of All-Star Weekend

Although an unfortunate groin injury is preventing Damian Lillard from suiting up for this year’s All-Star game, the studded superstar is still supporting the NBA festivities through a stage performance at the half time show, as well as via a new colorway of his adidas Dame 6. Relative to the latter, this specially designed iteration comes as a collaborative effort with long time Three Stripes partner, Pusha T. And to generate even more excitement over their “I Am My Own Fan” sneakers, the two have just unveiled a new commercial in support of its launch that debuts a new track from the Daytona rapper, which also happens to be produced by Pharrell Williams making for a smooth adidas/Virginia Beach 1-2 punch. While Lillard’s Dame D.O.L.L.A. alter-ego is absent from the actual song (as far as we know), the Portland Trail Blazers’ point guard is still shown in the video showing off his crafty handles. You can view the ad here below, and find the their sneakers dropping tomorrow, February 14th on adidas.com and at select Chicago retailers for $140 USD.
