The Nike Air Force 1 Low Shadow Gets Flooded In Red Uppers

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Shadow Gets Flooded In Red Uppers

When you think of a sneaker dressed in all-red, what comes to mind first: the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” or Valentine’s Day? Regardless of your answer, there’s no denying that there is something jarring, yet alluring about footwear clad in nothing but scarlet hues; it demands your attention whether you’re cognizant or not. So when you pair a triple “University Red” color scheme with a silhouette that has been captivating audiences for the past 38 years, you get this impressive upcoming Air Force 1 Shadow. Designed as an homage to those bringing change to their communities, this women’s version of the ’82-classic ups the bold ante as its layered look, which includes double eyestays, mudguards, back tabs, and lateral swooshes, is completely taken over by red. And while no other color brings contrast to this pair, a mix of materials and finishes provides some variation to this slightly exaggerated AF1.

No official release date is yet known for this Air Force 1 Low-variant, but a Nike.com drop in the coming weeks to coincide with Valentine’s Day is probable. Until then, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
