The Nike Air Force 1 Headlines Valentine’s Day With All-Over Branding

The Nike Air Force 1 Headlines Valentine’s Day With All-Over Branding

While Strangelove Skateboards has fetched admirers by way of Nike SB, the brand’s mainline offerings are doing the same through cherished classics — the Air Max 90 was one of the first, touting all-over branding across its mudguards, while the Air Force 1 has just joined along in a treatment similar though dialed up to a much higher level of aggression. Shaped with smooth leathers and typical constructions, the pair’s guise is otherwise quite normal, but its prints and colors are anything but subtle as they spread along the black-dyed base in perpetuity. Only two swoosh variants play a part, however — one outlined and the other colored in with a faded mint — yet they make up for diversity with sheer numbers as they make full use of the blank space in all sorts of orientations. The overlaid check, then, plants in flat white, same as the midsole, while on-theme details take the form of red contrast stitching at the welt, heart motifs on the tongue, and a large “U COMPLETE ME” stamped onto the insole. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to predate Valentine’s Day on February 8th at Nike.com and select shops.
