Nike’s animal-related inspirations have manifested into design cues and monikers across the Air Max and Air Jordan lines, with the former adding yet another tally to its wildlife-inspired roster via the Air Max 270 React. At first glance, the most prominent feature on the lifestyle silhouette’s recently surfaced iteration is the neon green that takes over the translucent Air Max 270 cushioning unit, heel tab, and tongue, but more is revealed upon thorough inspection. Clad in faint “Bone,” uppers on this hybrid model place its not uncommon suede overlays atop an unexpected mesh visible at the toe box, profiles, and collar. As aforementioned, animal-print – in this case of either a zebra or tiger – runs across the sides of this pair in the off-white palette and meets a reptilian-like leather panel at the heel that also appears at the base and top of the laces.
